1. About Us

Sewing Magic is a sole trader garment repair and alteration service based in Portishead, UK (17 High St, Portishead, BS20 6AE). By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Our Services

We offer garment repairs and alterations sent and returned by post via Royal Mail Tracked 48. We do not accept bridal couture or heavy leather garments.

3. Placing an Order

Orders are placed through our online booking system. Payment is required at the time of booking. We will confirm your order by email.

4. Sending Your Garments

After placing an order, you will receive a prepaid Royal Mail label or QR code by email. Please pack your garments securely before posting.

5. Turnaround Time

We aim to complete all repairs within 5–10 working days of receiving your garment. We will notify you by email when your item is on its way back.

6. Pricing

All prices are shown on our Pricing page. Postage costs are calculated at checkout.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your order before posting your garment for a full refund. Once we have received and begun work on your garment, cancellations are at our discretion. If we are unable to complete a repair, we will return your garment and issue a full refund.

8. Liability

We take great care with every garment. In the rare event of loss or damage, our liability is limited to the cost of the service paid. Royal Mail Tracked 48 provides insurance cover for items in transit.
